Human rights start with us!
Today, youth workers from the Dupnitsa Youth Center visited the "St. Ivan Rilski" Vocational High School in Dupnitsa, where we met with two 8th-grade classes.
Together, we discussed something we often take for granted: human rights.
What does it mean to have the right to an opinion?
Where do your rights begin, and where do the rights of others begin?
And do we know how to stand up for ourselves without infringing upon the freedom of others?
Through presentations, conversations, and real-life examples,
we turned the topic into a space for questions, discussions, and the sharing of opinions.
The most important thing we were reminded of today is simple:
Know your rights. Respect the rights of others. Be active.
We thank the students and teachers for their active participation and the great atmosphere!
This activity is part of the "Dupnitsa Youth Center" Project (Contract No. 25-00-37/20.07.2026), funded under the Ministry of Youth and Sports' Program for Financing Youth Centers in the Republic of Bulgaria (2026–2028).
